Roche Diagnostics MagNa Pure 24

NOVOPLAST manufactures the intake systems (racks) for Roche Diagnostics's MagNa Pure 24, a fully automatic clinical nucleic acid extraction system.

For the MagNa Pure 24, a fully automatic clinical nucleic acid extraction system, intake systems (racks) are required to analyse the samples and to be able to clearly assign them to the test person.

The total length of the component is 460 mm with a maximum wall thickness of 2.5 mm.

The component consists of two different PC injection-moulded parts, 24 springs, 24 screen printing positions and 48 different labels for identifying the sample clearly.

As an expert in the field of injection moulding technology, NOVOPLAST AG has implemented the highly sophisticated geometries into complex tools. The safe manufacturing process has made it possible to reproduce narrow tolerance ranges of up to +/- 0.05 mm.

Thanks to wide-ranging expertise, close cooperation with partners and our plant in Hungary, Roche was able to optimally cover the extensive needs in regard to the production and procurement of complete solutions.

NOVOPLAST manages the entire supply chain. We procure the springs, produce the sophisticated injection-moulded parts, have the racks printed, assemble the unit and label 48 different and clear positions.
